This is the first matcha from South Korea to secure a place in our selection. It distinguished itself through its high quality, impressing our expert taster who has over 25 years of experience. This matcha is produced in the region of Hadong from leaves harvested under under covered growing, as practised for the finest Japanese matcha. This technique encourages the tea plants to produce more chlorophyll and results in less bitterness in the leaves, giving the matcha greater smoothness and roundness.
